1. The service

TradeConnect is a marketplace that connects customers with independent tradespeople. We are not a party to the work agreement between a customer and a tradie, and we do not perform trade work ourselves.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tradies must hold and maintain any licences and insurance required for their trade.

3. Payments & fees

Payments are processed by our provider (Stripe). For protected jobs, funds may be held until the job is confirmed complete. Platform fees and any subscription charges are disclosed in the app before you commit.

4. Disputes

If a job is disputed, it may be reviewed by an independent inspector whose ruling determines the outcome under our dispute process. Fees associated with disputes are disclosed in the app.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use TradeConnect to post unlawful content, circumvent fees, harass others, or misrepresent your identity, licences or work.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TradeConnect is provided "as is". Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app or on this site.
